Capitt ("we", "us") provides AI-powered captioning, translation, and video export tools. This page explains what data we collect and how it's used.

What we collect

• Account details (name, email address) via our authentication provider, Clerk.
• Video files you upload, and the captions generated from them, stored on Cloudflare R2.
• Billing details when you subscribe to a paid plan, processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card details directly.

How it's used

Uploaded audio/video is sent to OpenAI's API (Whisper and GPT-4o) to generate and clean up captions and translations. We don't use your content to train our own models, and we don't sell your data to third parties.

Your controls

You can delete a project (and its video/captions) at any time from your dashboard. To request full account deletion or ask any question about your data, email Capitt Team.
